Your 3 days desert trip from Marrakesh to Merzouga commences from Marrakech and travels into the pass of High Atlas Mountains*2260 Meters high*, stopping along the way to view unique Berber communities and panoramic views. After that, you’ll visit Ait Ben Haddou, one of the oldest and most well-known Moroccan villages, where numerous Hollywood productions, including Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and the Kingdom of Heaven, have been filmed. After that, you’ll travel to Ouarzazate to see the Taourirt Kasbah and the Film Studios. The desert trip continues via the “road of a thousand Kasbahs” to Dades Valley. You’ll stop for a break in Roses Valley to tour a cooperative producing rose-related goods. Afterward, spend the night in the Dades valley. 

You will  start your day after breakfast. You will leave Dades valley into the Sahara Desert. Next will break in “the monkey toes,” a rock structure. Your desert trip continues to Tinghir, where you are going to pause to visit the Jewish and Berber villages in Todra valley. Continue to Todra Gorge, where you will have a walk under 300-meter-high cliffs. Then, after stopping in Erfoud, the city of fossils and dates you will arrive at Merzouga in the afternoon, you’ll ride camels across some of the highest dunes in all of Africa, stopping occasionally to take in the most amazing sunset you’ve ever seen. You will eventually reach the camp, where you will enjoy dinner while seated around a fire, listening to Berber music in the heart of the Sahara, and watching the stars. Overnight at the camp.

If you want to experience the most amazing sunrise of your life on top of a dune close to the camp, getting up early is a “can and should.” At the camp, you’ll have breakfast and take a shower. Later, you’ll take the camels back to Merzouga to meet your driver. The longest and most beautiful river in Morocco, the Draa, is then traveled through on the way back to Marrakech. Additionally, a new road will be taken for your desert trip, passing through the towns of Alnif, Nkoub, and Agdez. The Anti-Atlas Mountains are something you’ll pass on the trip back to Ouarzazate. Finally, go over the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. This completes your 3 day desert trip from Marrakesh to Merzouga.
